Recieved from Bonnie Aymond Ducote : Mike Ducote:
Saw colon specialist,
Dr. W. Reid Grimes, in Shreveport today. He ordered another rectal
scope for this Tuesday, as he wants to 'see for himself' where
exactly the cancerous polyp is located. This is the 3rd rectal
scope Mike has undergone by 3 different doctors.
Good
news is cancer has not spread into the bloodstream, so surgery is
not urgent at this time. Stage will not be determined until polyp
is removed and evaluated at lab.
Thank
you for your continued prayers.

in six weeks to three months then I can heal and get back to normal
by spring. At least that is what I am hoping for. Thanks for all the

The surgery lasted 3 1/2 hours and
the recovery for about 2 hours, he will be in the hospital 5 or
more days. I just pray the Lord that this surgery will be a
success that he will not have anymore problems. He asked me to
write to you to say Hi and let the people in Bunkie know that he
is OK. and for them to keep praying for him.
I'll let you know more news later
on, Please pray for me too to cope with everything. You have a
nice bless day. Daniele...

Johnny Tubre:
Hey everyone! I have an update on my
dad. Sadly this is not a great
update. I am currently in Houston with my family. My father has
been
diagnosed with Lung Cancer and it is bad. It has spread to his
brain
already. We were told to prepare for 10 months to 2 years. We will
work hard to help him get the 2 years. Please keep my family in all
of
your prayers as we go forward in this very difficult time. Thank
you
all for the love and support you have all shown us to this date.
Love,
Allison.

Dear Friends,
Please take a moment to say a prayer for the brother in law of my
best friend from Cottonport, Beth. "TUK", as we all know and love
him is only 44 years old and is very very sick. He and his wife,
Suzette have one beautiful daughter who is only 16 years old.
We all know how powerful prayers are. Please add this special family
to your prayer intentions.
Thank you so much.

Chris,
Just wanted to let you know that we are going through a very hard time right
now. Suzette's husband, Tuk, has had 2 heart attacks with 100% blockage and
damage to 2 coronary arteries along with damage to his heart. It is pretty
severe. He is on a balloon pump right now at the heart hospital in Lafayette
anticipating a possible CABG this week. However, his heart is so weak, they are
trying to strengthen it with medication and time. He had a heart cath done last
night with 2 stint placements. I am getting ready to go now. I worked last
night. Hopefully I can get some answers over there. This has been going on for
2 weeks. He has no insurance due to a preexisting condition of Hodgkins. So, we
have been in the charity system with feet dragging till last night when his
condition worsened and we had to go to the private hospital. When they tried to
transfer him from HPL initially, he was denied admission to both RRMC and
Cabrini due to inability to pay dispite accepting cardiologists at both
facilities. It has been a nightmare. Please say some prayers for him and his
family. As you know, he has one daughter, Tiffany, who is the same age as your
last one, Erin. This is what is killing me. She has no idea how serious things
are and we will try to shelter her until we have to tell her. Please share this
with whoever you think can help us with prayers, because in the end we all know
who is in control. It's just hard to let go of a 44 year old that we love
dearly. Beth

03/19/08:
Ruth had
successful 3-way by-pass surgery today at Cabrini Hospital
in Alexandria. Her surgeon indicated that all went well and
he did everything which required his attention.
Please know your
prayers helped and are appreciated.
Happy Easter to
you and your loved ones.
Remember, he is
the reason for the season.
Peace, Ed Dugas
03/13/08: Today I
am asking for prayers for Ruth Albritton.
Last night she had problems and they had to call an ambulance to
come and get her and they took her to Bunkie General. Today
they moved her to Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in
Alexandria. She is in ICU now and the doctors say she had a
small heart attack and has fluid around her heart or lungs,
forgot which one or maybe both.
She had been feeling bad these
past few weeks and been back and forth to the doctor but all the
tests were coming back good and she was improving; but last
night it wasn't so good.
I ask
for your prayers for her speedy recovery and for her family.
Love and
Prayers, Jan
03/13/08: Ruth
Dugas Albritton will be having heart surgery at 10:00 a.m.
on Friday at Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria to relieve major
blockages. Your prayers for her and her family are
appreciated.
Peace, Ed Dugas
03/14/08:
Family Members,
Ruth had a
return visit from pneumonia. Slight as it may be, her
heart surgery was postponed at least until next week.
Jeannie told
me she ate a little tonight - first solid food since
Tuesday. I plan to visit with her tomorrow. Your
prayers are appreciated.
Peace, Ed
