THERESA GASPARD DUPUY PARRINO Funeral services for Theresa Gaspard Dupuy Parrino will be at 10:30 am, Monday, Jan. 25, 2010 in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Fr. Jack Michalchuk officiating. Burial will be in the Pythian Cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie. Mrs. Parrino, age 87, of Bunkie passed away on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 at the Bailey House in Bunkie. Mrs. Parrino was a native of Marksville and a resident of Bunkie. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Bunkie General Silver Society, the Bunkie General Dance Line and a Senior Olympic participant in dancing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lemmie Joseph Dupuy , a granddaughter, Codi Elaine Dupuy two sisters, eleven brothers and her parents, Stanislaus and Adelise Gaspard. She is survived by three daughters, Ramona Parrino and her husband, Nick, of Bunkie, Judith McNutt and her husband, William of Greenwell Springs and Alethea Dupuy of Baton Rouge; two sons, Byron Dupuy and his wife, Laurie, of Butte LaRose, LA and Keith Dupuy of Brusly; nine grandchildren, Nicholas Parrino of Baton Rouge, Amy Parrino of Baton Rouge, Christopher Parrino of Collierville, TN, Paul Parrino of Luling, April Morris of Greenwell Springs, Will McNutt of Greenwell Springs, Emily Dupuy of Brusly, Matthew Dupuy of Brusly and Gretchen Rodriguez of Baton Rouge and nine great grandchildren. Friends may call at Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie on Monday, Jan. 25, 2010 from 8 am - 10:15 am.
