Memorial services
for Sharyn McBride Harrington will be at 11:00
am on Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 in the chapel of
Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie. Sharyn, age 63,
of Bunkie, passed away in her residence on
Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009. She was a retired school
teacher, having taught in the New Orleans area.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin
and Viola David McBride and a brother, Larry
McBride. She is survived by her son, Charles
"Chuck" Griffin, Jr. of Bunkie and her
companions, Baxter, Sheba and Nemo. Visitation
will be at Melancon Funeral Home on Friday, Dec.
11, 2009 from 10 am until service time.
