Funeral services for Patsy "Pat" Peterson
Lemoine will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009 at the
David Haas Memorial United Methodist Church in Bunkie.
Burial will be in Pythian Cemetery under the direction of
Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie. Mrs. Lemoine, age 84, of
Alexandria, formerly of Bunkie, passed away on Monday, Dec.
14, 2009 in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. Pat was a
graduate of Central High School of Memphis, TN and worked
for the Army's Kennedy General Hospital and was a stewardess
for American Airlines. She and her family lived in Bunkie
for 36 years, then moved to Alexandria. She loved her
volunteer work with the Pink Ladies Auxiliary at Bunkie
General Hospital and Rapides Regional Medical Center, having
served as President of both auxiliaries. She was preceded in
death by her daughter, Betsy Lemoine. Survivors include her
husband, Dr. G. Anthony Lemoine of Alexandria; her daughter,
Donna Turner and her husband, John, of Pollock; one son,
Chris Lemoine of Pollock; two grandchildren, Renee Roy
Hansen and her husband, Chris, of Houston, TX and Matthew
Roy of Bocca Ratan, FL. Visitation will be at the David Haas
Memorial United Methodist Church on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009
from 9 am until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be made to the Alzheimer Association - 3717 Government
St. - Alexandria, LA 71302.
