Funeral services for Nettie mae
Juneau Voorhies will be at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, Nov.
3, 2009 at Our Ladt of Lourdes Catholic Church,
Fifth Ward. Burial will be in the Kelone Cemetery
#1, Fifth Ward under the direction of Melancon
Funeral Home, Bunkie. Mrs. Voorhies, age 90, of
Bunkie passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital on
Friday, Oct. 30, 2009. She was a retired antique
dealer. Survivors include her husband, Morris
Voorhies of Bunkie and one son, Dale Voorhies of
Bunkie and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation
will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church from
9 am until service time on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009.
