Funeral services
for Melody Jeanne Bennett Tucker will be at 10:00 am,
Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010 in the chapel of Melancon Funeral
Home with Rev. Donald Johnson officiating. Burial will be in
the Pythian Cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral
Home, Bunkie. Mrs. Tucker, age 54, of Bunkie passed away on
Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010 in Bayou Vista Manor Nursing Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Wuaneta Marks of Bunkie;
three sisters, Connie Wilson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Carol
Grisby of Shreveport, LA and Candy Ashley of Yahoo, MS; five
grandsons, Blake Marks, Joseph Weaver, John Weaver, Brandon
Marks and Tyler Miller all of Bunkie. Visitation will be at
Melancon Funeral Home from 8 am until service time on
