Funeral
services for Lois Jean Whittington O'Quin will be at
2:00 pm, Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009 in First Baptist Church
of Lone Pine with Rev. David Newton officiating. Burial
will be in the O'Quin Family Cemetery, Lone Pine, under
the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie. Mrs.
O'Quin, age 76, of Lone Pine passed away on Friday,
September 25, 2009 in the Bayou Vista Manor Nursing Home
in Bunkie. She was preceded in death by her husband,
Marshall Haas O'Quin and a son, Faron Haas O'Quin.
Survivors include one son, Paul O'Quin of Lone Pine; two
daughters, Sandy O'Quin Noble and her husband, Scott of
Cypress, TX and Sarah O'Quin Sievers and her husband,
Wally of Lone Pine; one daughter-in-law, Faye O'Quin of
Lone Pine; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be at First Baptist Church of Lone Pine
from 2 pm - 10 pm Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009 and from 10
am until service time on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009.
