Funeral services for Kenny Gill Guillot will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, March 4, 2010 in the chapel of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie with Rev. Tommy French officiating. Burial will be in Pythian Cemetery under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie.

Mr Guillot, age 74, of Nashville, TN, formerly of Bunkie, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010 in Ascension Oaks. He was a member of the Louisiana Musicians Hall of Fame. He was a professional and well-known guitar player who loved his music and family dearly. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Ascension Oaks in Gonzales and Amedysis Hospice. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Valentine Guillot and a brother, Bill Guillot. He is survived by his wife, Jeanene Guillot of Nashville, TN; three sons, Chet Guillot and wife, Denise of Mandeville, Kirk Guillot and wife, Lilly of Mt. Juliet, TN and Steve Guillot and wife, Franny of Gonzales; two step-daughters Shelly Williamson of Colorado and Christi Williamson Jarreau and husband, Mike of New Roads; one sister-in-law, Mary C. Guillot of River Ridge, LA; six grandchildren Brandon, Carrie, Ethan, Corben, Luke and Alex Guillot and a great granddaughter, Jennifer Guillot.
