Over the years, many of you have commented to me your desire to and your regret 
of not
 having served in the military.  Let me assure you - for those of us who 
had the privilege and honor of serving, we feel no ill will toward you.  To the 
contrary, we served so you, the teachers, builders, doctors, farmers, lawyers, 
engineers and yes college professors could keep our country strong and our youth 
educated and inspired.  Without you, we would have had nothing to return to.
