Our niece, Amy Grace Juneau, graduated on August 10, 2002 from The University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Her close friend, Sarah, graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. They are both currently in graduate school attaining a Master's Degree.

Sarah is still attending ULM and will get a Master's in social work. I am attending Southeastern Louisiana University (in Hammond, LA). I am working towards a Master's degree in Health Studies. I am a Graduate Assistant in the Kinesiology and Health Studies Department for this semester. I will take my National Athletic Training Association Board of Certification Exam on November 17. ***I spoke with Amy this morning and she is awaiting the results as we speak***After I pass my exam I will be moved to the SLU Athletic Training room and will hold a graduate assist position there.
This was a very exciting day for both of us. Sarah and I graduated from Bunkie High together in 1998. So it meant a lot to us to being able to graduate from college together at ULM.
Amy also sent pictures of the after grad celebration. Carrie Callahan, Jill Moreau, and Kelly Descant (not pictured) also came to share this special day with us. We all graduated from BHS together.
