"Thank you for your support on getting the Chamber web site off the ground.  We would appreciate having this form sent to as many business, civic or social organizations, tourism/retirement, economic development sites, churches, schools, City/ State / Federal Government local contacts  as possible.  Circulate the request to as many persons who you feel can support economic development and the promotion of our community/chamber members,  Encourage them to respond as quickly as possible or check with the Chamber for further details.  There is no charge for Chamber members and for a small fee one can become a Chamber member.  
 
If you would like your own web site as well as this link from the Chamber, you can contact the Chamber for more information.  Our web designer would be pleased to support you at a very reasonable fee.

2. or,  Download the attached input style form if you have Word 2007, edit the document, save it, and e-mail the attached file to the chamber to bunkiechamber@bellsouth.net .
 
3. Print the page and fill it manually to deliver / fax / mail to the chamber.

            The Chamber requests our members, civic organizations/clubs, churches, governmental & economic development organizations, schools, and tourism/retirement/recreational groups to  complete the enclosed web page development questionnaire and return it to the Chamber at your at your earliest convenience, but please by January 29 to ensure your presence on the Chamber web.  Chamber members, civic organizations, and churches will be promoted on the site at no charge. 

 

            It is the goal of the Chamber to serve its members by marketing Bunkie through the development of a professional web site that highlights our member’s business attributes and contact information; encourages economic development through useful business links and services; promotes the Corn Festival and other social functions of the community; develops retirement and tourism information within the Bunkie area; develops a community based social networking through face-book and notices of events/activities/ or announcements that affect our members and our community; and provides links to promote our local city government, schools, police / fire departments, and other public offices.

 

            We need your support not only in supplying the information requested, but also to help us generate additional ideas that would make the web site better.  Provide us your e-mail address or visit the Chamber to review a rough draft of the web site.  Later revisions to the web site most likely will require charges, please respond early.

 

            We are also seeking someone that may be interested in helping to maintain the site.  Once the site is complete, we will hold a training session to learn how to update the site and to utilize the membership communication resources.
