This year, I will be joining the movement to end MS in the 2009 Walk MS benefiting the Louisiana Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

As you may know, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in May of 2008. By making a pledge on my behalf, you are supporting research and local services to those of us living each day with multiple sclerosis.

My goal is to raise at least $2000. Please assist me in reaching this goal with your pledge.

Multiple Sclerosis is a chronic, potentially disabling disease of the central nervous system. Symptoms are fickle; they come and go without any pattern or warning. They range from extraordinary fatigue, difficulty walking, double vision, to paralysis and blindness.

The unpredictable physical and emotional effects of MS are life long. Because the disease strikes people in the prime of their lives, families and careers are affected or radically altered. Family members of those who are affected by this disease often feel helpless!

Checks can be mailed to be at Shera LaPoint, P. O. Box 599 Bunkie, LA 71322. They must be made out to the National MS Society.

Thank you in advance for your support of this worthy cause. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Sincerely,

Shera LaPoint
