AMERICA’S GUARD OF HONOR

 America’s Guard of Honor,

That’s what they’re called.

The 82^nd Airborne,

Brave, courageous and tall.

My son Seth is a proud member

Of that honored group,

He’s one of many,

A brave troop.

When the word came

To go to Iraq,

He went willingly and didn’t shrink,

Or run to the back.

He’s now a Specialist, & hopes to make Sergeant,

Maybe he’ll make the Army a career.

No matter what he chooses,

I’ll stand up and cheer.

He’s my American Solider, a member of the 82^nd Airborne,

Brave, courageous and tall.

He’s fighting in Iraq,

To keep us free, one and all.
