Dale, thank you for this reminder call.  Your words are inspiring.  My flag is going up this morning.

Last night I had dinner with neighbors who are retired AF. They have guests visiting for several days. Jack and Marsha, their friends, are active military. Jack is a three star general and Marsha is the proud wife who serves in her own capacity next to her husband.  It was such a privilege to have an evenings conversation with them and recognize the extent of duty and honor they bring to any topic. Shaking his hand at the end of the evening was the most comforting, compelling, solid moment I have had in a long time.

God Bless America and those who serve her in this crazy old world.

Webmaster Footnote:  It is obvious to the reader that Madeline is very patriotic and does not mind saying so.  Having dinner with an Air Force three star is icing on the cake.  Thank you MaddyBurg for sharing with us.  Madeline is a BHS grad of 1966
